Please review our code of ethics page. Membership to the USA Sports Association is a privilege. Violation of the code of ethics may result in removal from the organization's membership roster without refund.
Here at USA Sports Association, NFP, we offer a membership for everyone. We believe in the age old belief that "it takes a village." We are developing that village here with our membership options. Join us in our mission.

ATHLETE MEmBERSHIP
Requirements:
  1. Follow the CODE OF ETHICS for USASA.
  2. Submit commitment to ethics form via e-mail to [email protected].
  3. Submit $10 membership fee.
Privileges:
  1. Digital athlete membership card.
  2. Privilege to compete at USASA Nationals team selection.
  3. Opportunities to fill team slots for partner organization's national teams (When applicable).

COACH
Requirements:
  1. Have basic experience coaching students in martial arts competition.
  2. Review Coaches Handbook.
Privileges:
  1. Coach's certificate and membership card.
  2. Athlete membership included for Coach/Athletes.
  3. Privilege to coach at Official National Team Trials.
  4. Web listing as a coach under the USASA.

GOLD CERTIFIED COACH
Requirements:
  1. Establish Charter Club Membership.
  2. Provide proof of at least 1 black belt certification (any art) by an accredited instructor.
  3. Review Coaches Handbook.
  4. Establish a criminal background check here SSCI.
Privileges:
  1. "USASA Gold Certified Coach" certificate and membership card.
  2. Affiliated Charter Club listing gets priority placement and gold highlight.
  3. Athlete Membership Included for Coach/Athletes.
  4. Consideration to coach US National Team for select international sports.
  5. Web listing as a "Certified USASA Coach." 
  6. Participation in the USASA Scholarship Program.
  7. Free Tournament Entry in a coaching capacity (Must present card).

OFFICIAL/REFEREE
Requirements:
  1. Successfully complete referee training course.
  2. Provide proof of at least 1 purple, brown or black belt certification (any art) by an accredited instructor to ​[email protected]
  3. Establish a criminal background check here SSCI.
Privileges:
  1. "Certified USASA Referee" certificate and membership card.
  2. Athlete membership included for Referees.
  3. Opportunity to be compensated for refereeing at USASA sanctioned events.

CHARTER CLUB
·Requirements:
  1. Promote the values and mission of USASA.
  2. Sponsor 1 child for martial arts classes per year.
  3. Participate in our expanded youth sponsorship program (Must have at least 1 Gold Certified Coach to participate).
  4. Allow card carrying members 1 free training day at your location as a visitor.​
Privileges:
  1. "Charter Club" certificate.
  2. Opportunity to participate in our youth sponsorship program.
  3. Web listing of your club on "USASA Clubs" page of this website.
  4. Consideration to host Official National Team Tryouts (as applicable)
Gold Charter Club Status 
This status is reserved for Charter Clubs who have at least 1 Gold Certified Coach on staff. Gold Charter Clubs earn priority listing under their respective state.

AMATEUR ASSOC.
Requirements:
  1. Promote the values and mission of USASA.
  2. Be an established organization with the purpose of promoting amateur martial arts sports in the United States.
  3. Owner or Director must establish a criminal background check here SSCI​
Privileges:
  1. "Affiliated Amateur Sports Organization" certificate.
  2. Eligibility to host trials events for select USA National Team selection.
  3. Web listing of your organization on "USASA Affiliated Organizations" page of this website.

This membership is for anyone who believes in our mission and supports our efforts in accomplishing it.
